The “Get-Help” Section on Discord

The “Get-Help” section provides Blockcircle members at all levels support when they have a problem or need to ask a question (Link). This could be something simple like, “What action can be taken to make a hot wallet such as Metamask more secure?” or it could be something more complicated like explaining “How does Impermanent loss happen when proving liquidity?”.

Why Use the Get-Help Channel?

  • Collaborative Learning – Harness the collective wisdom of our diverse and intelligent Blockcircle community by posting a question or engaging with a post.
  • Direct Admin Support – The Blockcircle team is on-hand to answer questions through the Get-Help section. If you want the help of a specific team member you can tag them.
  • Resourceful Archive – All discussions are preserved, creating a long-term repository of knowledge that can be used to help members in the future and provide excellent content for blogs and resources like Blockcirclepedia.

Maximizing Your Get-Help Experience

  • Clarity is Key – A well-worded question can help Blockcircle provide quick and accurate responses, so please be as clear and concise as possible.
  • Maintain Courtesy – Our community thrives on mutual respect. Let’s cultivate an environment that’s positive and conducive to learning for everyone.
  • Screenshots Speak – Provide a screenshot where possible to best explain an issue you are having.
  • Revisit Before You Ask – Before posting, a quick scroll and use of the search function might reveal that a similar question has already been addressed. It’s also a good idea to check support.blockcircle.com too.
  • Open Discussions Over DMs – Anything shared in the Get-Help section benefits the entire community. While it might seem quicker to DM an admin directly, it is much better to tag the admin in the #get-help channel rather than DM’ing them as it allows the whole community to contribute and get the benefit of the answer. Only resort to DMs when absolutely necessary, such as when sharing personal information.
