The ‘Trades’ is where personal trading strategies are shared, complete with insights behind each trade decision.

Newcomers might initially find the channel, especially the way trades are presented, difficult to understand. The following should help you understand the format;

Unpacking the Trade Format in ‘Trades’ Channel

Lbet’s break down the standard format:

  1. Pair: Specifies the liquidity pool’s pair. For instance, WETH and UNIBOT. Here, UNIBOT is the asset being acquired. Curious about liquidity pools? Seek clarity in our dedicated Help channels.
  2. Trade Direction (LONG/SHORT): A ‘LONG’ trade suggests placing the trade in anticipation of the asset’s value increase, while ‘SHORT’ signifies the opposite.
  3. Entry Price: Indicates the price at which the asset was purchased.
  4. Portfolio Risk: An essential metric representing the percentage of the digital asset portfolio allocated for a particular trade, often 1%. For instance, with a portfolio worth $10,000, 1% would be $100.
  5. Chart Link: Provides a visual representation of the token’s trends and relevant acquisition information.
  6. Contract Address: Refers to the Ethereum address linked to the token’s smart contract. NB, when projects are based on Arbitrium, Base, zkSync, or CEX (typically PERPS), this will be highlighted.
  7. Slippage: Indicates the set slippage percentage for token purchase, often accounting for fees imposed by the project during transactions.
  8. Profit Targets: While they offer a guide for anticipated profit points, they might not be strictly adhered to.
  9. Stop Loss Level: Signifies the predetermined selling point based on risk tolerance. It’s an indicator, and sometimes the strategy might change based on real-time developments. NB, risk to 0/zero signifies a small, risky investment that does not include a Stop Loss level on entry.
  10. Trade Rationale: Offers insights into the decision-making process for a particular trade, shedding light on factors like market cap, past performance, and notable stakeholders.
  11. Project Website Link: Directs to the official website of the token or project in focus.
