The Search function is typically the fastest way to find what you are looking for and it is a great way of accessing the great educational content and information captured in the Blockcircle Discord over time.
Members can search for past posts on a given topic, a project, in a given thread or channel, or from a specific user and more.
Searching for Posts by a Specific User
If you want to see all New post and comments by CryptoHunter:
- Type “from:cryptohunter” into the Search Bar.
- Click on New to see posts ordered by most recent.
Search for posts by a specific user on a given topic
If you want to search for the first post by CryptoHunter about a given project, for example to find the Trades Log entry post:
1. Search “from:cryptohunter”.
2. Next add the name of the project or the text you want to search for.
3. Select “Old” to find the oldest posts on the Discord server.
Other Search Options
Other Search Options include the following:
- “Mentions” search for a post mentions a user.
- “Has” search for a post with a link or file.
- “Before” search for posts before a specific.
- “During” search for posts on a specific date.
- “After” search for posts after a specific date.
- “Pinned” search for posts that are pinned.
- NB all of these can be filtered by specific text next to it, such as a project name or a topic.
